Condition Guide
Graded cards speak for themselves — every slab links to its live certificate. For raw cards we use one fixed scale, published here, on every listing. We describe conservatively and photograph honestly: the photos are part of the description.
- NM-MT (Near Mint–Mint)
- The best a raw card gets from us — sharp corners, clean edges, strong surface, centering roughly 60/40 or better. We deliberately cap raw descriptions here: if we believed it was Gem Mint, we'd grade it.
- NM (Near Mint)
- One minor flaw under close inspection — a soft corner tip, a light surface line, or slightly off centering. Presents beautifully in a toploader.
- EX (Excellent)
- Light honest wear: minor corner fuzzing, small edge chips, or visible centering shift. A solid collector copy.
- VG (Very Good)
- Noticeable wear — rounded corners, creasing possible, surface wear. Priced accordingly.
- POOR
- Heavy wear, creases or damage. Listed only when the card matters more than its condition.
Condition notes on each listing call out specifics — centering estimates, corner-by-corner remarks, print lines. If you want more photos or a video of any card before buying, ask; we'll always send them.
